I have been aware of the usefulness of the website Find A Grave for a while, and I know that some of the library volunteers at the Johnson County Museum add photos and contribute information to the records. After learning from them about the process of getting memorial records transferred to them, I thought that I should give it a try.
To start, I contacted the contributor who added the Crown Hill cemetery records for the Buchter, Lieberherr, and Jones ancestors. He transferred the records to me, and then I was able to edit the information in the records. I was also able to upload a photograph that I had taken of a tombstone for Sarah F. (Richards) Jones, the daughter of Rebecca Jane (Gibson) Maynard.

I especially like how Find A Grave allows you to link records together by adding father, mother, and spouse(s). I discovered that several of my 4x great-grandmother's Mullinix children were listed as being buried at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in White River Township, Johnson County. The records for these children linked to their father Greenberry Mullinix, but listed no mother. I performed several additional searches but Rebecca Gibson Maynard wasn't listed at all on Find A Grave. My guess is that whoever maintains the records of the Mullinix children doesn't know that Rebecca's last name at her death was Maynard. I created a record for Rebecca, linked this to her father's record, and her 2nd and 3rd husbands. Once I find where her 1st and 4th husbands are buried, I can link them to her record also. I cannot link Rebecca to the records for her children, but others contributors can link to her as their mother. My hope is that someone else will find the information I have contributed and the links I created to Rebecca's other husbands and her parents helpful. Maybe we can share other family information. I also have plans to take a photograph of Rebecca's tombstone. If the weather clears up, I would like to do this soon.
Here is what Rebecca's record in Find A Grave looks like:
